Here at Thorncreek, we still do things the same way today as we did nearly 2 decades ago when we first started breeding Pointing Labs.  We begin by talking and debating endlessly about the important traits of the litter. The same issues are discussed each time; color, health, size, pointing, retrieving, demeanor, etc. Funny thing is, we always end with the exact same conclusion - focus on a breeding that we believe will produce the best upland pointing field dogs, but never ever sacrifice the dogs personality.
